Hellooooooo! This is me
Welcome to my brand new blog, I guess I should introduce myself.
My name is Donna and I live in Plymouth, where I’m kept on my toes by my partner, 2 teenage children and 4 chickens.
My business, Polkadot Crafts UK, has been up and running since May 2016 , although I have enjoyed crafting for as long as I can remember! I make cards for all occasions, using decorative papers and fabric combined with machine and hand stitching , often embellished with buttons.
I also create, one of a kind pieces of needlefelted artwork. The subject matter varies quite a lot as they are often commissions, but I have made quite a few beach scenes angels and tree of life wool paintings.
I’m currently building up my range of gift items too, recently my “hugs” and “dammit dolls” have both proved very popular.
I love my job as it allows me to spend time carefully choosing and combining different materials to make unique creations. I feel honoured that people choose me to make the special cards and gifts that they want to give to their loved ones.
